From September 5 to 7, 2025, the 15th Smart City and Intelligent Economy Expo was grandly held at Ningbo International Convention and Exhibition Center. With the theme "AI Empowerment, Digital Intelligence for a New Era", this professional expo covered a total exhibition area of 35,000 square meters and gathered over 400 exhibitors.
Six themed pavilions focused on displaying the latest technological products and application practices in artificial intelligence and the integration of digital and real economies. Amid the bustling exhibition areas, the interesting interaction between MR headsets and robots brought by GravityXR became the highlight of the event, attracting a large number of visitors to stop and watch.
The Ningbo Smart Expo has long been an important showcase for smart city and digital economy development in China. Focusing on the "AI Plus" strategic initiative, this expo fully demonstrated how AI technology empowers new-type industrialization and the all-round digital and intelligent transformation of cities. From AI leadership to AI-enabled manufacturing, and from digital intelligence scenarios to digital intelligent energy, each pavilion presented rich application scenarios of artificial intelligence technology. At this highly professional and technologically advanced expo, GravityXR emerged as one of the most eye-catching highlights with its exhibited spatial computing chip EB100.This chip provides functions such as digital human modeling, spatial rendering and real-time 3D display, and offers an integrated hardware-software and key algorithm solution for MR devices and embodied intelligence systems. The interesting interaction between robots wearing MR headsets and staff at the expo created an ultimate experience blending virtual and real worlds: with MR headsets, staff could share vision and synchronize movements with robots, realizing MR embodied intelligent remote avatars driven by virtuality to reality. Robots and on-site staff jointly completed interactive displays such as handshakes, dancing and Q&A, arousing thunderous cheers from the audience.
At the expo, GravityXR attracted numerous visitors with its stunning "Vivid Face" robots. On the booth, humanoid robots equipped with the spatial computing chip EB100 presented lifelike "Vivid Face" — relying on the independently developed Reverse Perspective Technology , XR devices embedded with this chip can generate and render users' facial digital avatars in real time, greatly enhancing the naturalness of human-machine interaction and social convenience. In an interview, GravityXR stated that the team is committed to "making humanoid robots more human-like". The robots at the expo could not only blink and smile to convey emotions, but also make their facial expressions change naturally and vividly by simulating human emotions, demonstrating unprecedented flexibility and adaptability. Serving as intelligent assistants at the expo, they not only provided visitors with expo information and Q&A services, but also brought brand-new emotional interaction experiences for the future industrial development of XR devices and embodied intelligence systems.
The future is here, and embodied intelligence is reshaping our production and lifestyles at an unprecedented pace. The perfect integration of GravityXR's "Vivid Face" and robots is just a microcosm of this great era of change.
With the continuous advancement of technology and in-depth application, we can expect that in the near future, such intelligent human-machine collaboration scenarios will move from the expo stage to thousands of households, and from experimental scenarios to practical production and daily life.
The Ningbo Smart Expo has opened a window for us to glimpse the accelerating new era of intelligence.
